The mobile app Transit, available on both iPhone and Android, is designed to simplify the commute. Transit dreams of happier communities, where multiple modes work together and getting from A to B with Transit is simpler than climbing into a car.

With Transit, you can:

  • Sign up for a FREE Ride Pass
  • Manage your account
  • Check out a WE-cycle
  • Access real-time RFTA schedules and live bike and dock availability
  • Plan your multi-modal trip

How to: the App Transit

Once in Aspen, Basalt, or Snowmass Village, sign up for WE-cycle on Transit.

It's fast and easy.

  1. Download Transit
  2. Click on any WE-cycle Station or Get Unlimited 30-min Ride Pass on the “WE-cycle Card” (orange bar under the map)
  3. Follow the Sign Up sequence:

GET YOUR UNLOCK CODE

  1. Make sure you are signed up for FREE Ride Pass and logged into your Account  (accessed through settings in the upper left corner)
  2. Click on the station nearest you or Get Unlock Code on the WE-cycle Card (orange bar under the map)
  3. A ONE-TIME 5-digit Unlock Code will be generated that can be used to unlock any bike at THAT particular WE-cycle Station. If the code does not work right away, make sure you generated an Unlock Code for the correct station. Codes are valid for five minutes and can only check out one bike.
