The WE-cycle Board consists of community members who volunteer their time to help govern the organization. The Board serves the not-for-profit with strategic planning and programming direction. Board members are asked to build enthusiasm for and support WE-cycle through their networks and with their skills and knowledge. 

Annually, the WE-cycle Board nominates future members in January. This year, the Board has dedicated two Board seats to be held by active WE-cycle riders chosen from the valley-wide community via application submission.

The insights and perspectives riders have about WE-cycle, how our bikeshare serves riders, and how it can be improved are invaluable. As a local organization, WE-cycle is enthused to welcome its riders to the Board to help us realize our mission of connecting people to place with community-supported bikeshare. 

Obligations:

Each Board member holds a two-year term. The Board meets virtually every other month for six one-hour virtual meetings, and in-person for an annual meeting in January. Meetings are the first Thursday of every other calendar month (February, April, June, August, October, December), from 12 – 1pm. Applications are due November 5, 2021. Term starts January 2022.
