OUR MISSION
WE-cycle: connecting people to place with community-supported bikeshare.
A 501(c)(3) not for profit organization, WE-cycle is dedicated to serving the Roaring Fork Valley with bikeshare in the form of a public/private partnership.
WE-cycle opened in Aspen in 2013 as the first bikeshare in North America outside of a metropolitan area. In 2016, it added the Basalt system, providing service in Basalt, Willits, and El Jebel.
WE-cycle is a PBSC Urban Solutions-based system and partners with Transit to provide its app-based bike check-out.
WE recognize that no initiative or individual alone can reach our ambitious community vision. And so, WE-cycle was born as a collective means of pedaling towards a connected, clean, bright, and healthy future!
TEAM
The WE-cycle Team is an enthusiastic, aligned group of individuals passionately inspiring people to ride bikes and committed to making a difference in the community.
